The volume of the school body recalls the shapes present in the neighbourhood. Low volumes in which sloping roofs stand out, which continue to suggest the image of the village in the woods.
Furthermore, the composition of these roofs is useful in recognizing the hierarchy of the internal spaces and the different accesses. Access to the entrance courtyard is marked by a sloping roof on via Giacomo Leopardi which materializes the image of the entrance threshold. In correspondence with this roof there is the entrance to the multifunctional areas for the community.
The entrance courtyard leads to the school atrium which is defined by large windows that establish a constant visual relationship between inside and outside.
